Unfortunately not, as we are not insured for people to bring their own Karts.

We are Open 7 days a week all year round* from 10am onwards Monday to Friday’s, and we are open from 9.30am at the weekends.

Public holiday operating times may vary, please check the site for details throughout the year.

*We only close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day

Yes, 

Every driver is given a full safety briefing by the National Karting Association(NKA), and provided all the safety equipment needed to drive at the track.

You will be given an arrival time when booking, this is usually 30 minutes before your event is due to start.

Please ensure you are not late as if you arrive after your arrival time, this may affect your time on the circuit.

The minimum number of drivers depends on the event/session you wish to race in.

We can run Party events 7 days a week daytime or evening, to suit you requirements. Availability on weekends is limited and only available in the mornings on most occasions.

Mr Karting uses single engined Biz Karts, which are the market leading kart in the Indoor Karting industry.

Both the Adult and the Cadet karts use the same size engine, with the facility to restrict the karts according to the drivers age and experience.

Yes. 

If you have you own race suit, gloves or boots you are welcome to wear these if you wish.
You may also wear your own Helmet, as long as it is a full face helmet, with fitted visor or goggles.

Don’t worry if you don’t have any of your own equipment, we provide everything you need to drive at the track.

 

The top three drivers receive a personalised trophy* and a bottle of bubbly for the winner for all GP Style events, Head 2 Heads and Iron Man Challenges.

For Team endurance events every member of the top three teams win a personalised trophy* and a bottle of bubbly for the winning team

We can also offer an upgrade package to larger trophies.

We’ve had lots of drivers who have been that weight/height but we can’t guarantee it, as everyone is a different shape.

If you are unsure, we recommend that you come down prior to booking and you can try our kart’s for size

NO for safety reasons each child must be 4’4″ (132cms) or taller, so therefore will not be able to race.

Note: Minimum age must also be reached.

NO for insurance reasons each child must be over 8 years of age.

The karts have a 160cc Honda engine, with 5.5bhp.

The gearing is then set to give maximum speed and performance

All drivers have to be a minimum age is 8 years old and at least 4’4″ (1.32m).

For all Adult Karting Events, and Adult open events, the minimum age is 15 years old unless stated otherwise

No we don’t. Our petrol powered 4-stroke race Karts are much quicker and more reliable than those inferior slow electric Karts you see at other circuits.
