Ex Mr Karting driver and British racer Nick Yelloly is to return to the GP3 Series this season, and has made a switch to Status Grand Prix.

The 23-year-old contested the 2011 and ’13 campaigns in GP3, finishing sixth in the points last season with Carlin.

In between, he took fifth position in the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 Series, with two wins.

“I’m very happy to be joining Status GP for 2014,” said Yelloly. “We have a clear aim to win the championship together.

We are now well into the New Year and busy making plans for 2014.

The countdown has started to the 2014 Junior Championship and February 11th is fast approaching, so if you want to take part then reserve your place on the grid now. Nick Yelloly signed off his return season to GP3,

with some great performances in the last round of the season.

He qualified second on the grid for the first race, and just got out manoeuvred by his Carlin Motorsport teammate and eventually came home in third place.
