Junior Race School – For Beginners and Novices,
Think you’re the next Lewis Hamilton?
If you’re a novice driver, learn how to drive fast and race hard in a safe and controlled environment with our experienced karters at Junior Race School.
Junior Race School is usually held on the second Monday of the month with signing on at 6:00pm and should finish at around 8:30pm. Price for the event is £20* which makes Junior Race School one of our best value events.
For every event, we split all drivers into groups depending on their currently ability where they have three sessions of 5 minutes (could be more) to try and develop their skills. Before anyone starts to drive, we will walk the track with drivers who have haven’t driven the track often, looking at each corner and how to approach it. Our team will give each group top tips and advice inbetween sessions on what they need to do to drive better.
Race School is the first step on our ladder of junior events. Once a driver achieves a lap time of 19.5 seconds or faster we would invite them to progress to the next stage which is Junior Kart Club and eventually the Junior Open Grand Prix Series.
